    IPA Pickles?!?

It was kind of funny today. I tried another carrot pickle and my 2 year old son asked for one so I gave it to him. He kind of made a funny face but he finished the whole thing. I asked if he wanted another one and he shook his head no and walked away. I'm guessing he wasn't impressed.....

    IPA Pickles?!?

So 24 hours later I snuck a taste of cucs and they weren't bad, but I wasn't 100% pleased either. They were good but I like more of a sour and zingier pickle. Next batch I might use white vinegar instead of cider vinegar just to get more neutral of a flavor, then step up the garlic and add...

    The Home Made Pizza Thread

Your pizza stone will be fine on the grill, the only thing you need to worry about is really fast changes in temperature. Like don't heat it up to 500 and then throw it in a pile of snow or something. I keep my pizza stone in the oven too and I'm hoping some day I can find a bigger baking...

    National Margarita Day...In a beer

Thanks! When I did the calculator for this recipe I put in Chinook instead of Citra for the second hop addition because the alpha acids are pretty close. I think my second choice would be Simcoe or Sorachi Ace, I kind of want to stay with the citrus-like flavors, but from what I can tell...

Thanks! I learned enough morse code to pass the test, which isn't a requirement any more. But I'm trying to get back into it because its such a universal and fail proof method of communication.

    National Margarita Day...In a beer

I'm pretty new to brewing so thats why I'm putting this question in this forum. I've got 2.5 one gallon extract kits under my belt (one kit is still in the fermenter and is getting bottled in a couple days). I'm feeling bold and daring and want to try a recipe of my own design. Since today...
