For all you guys brewing in the basement

I am moving my rig inside, my basement to be exact. Am I going to run into a bunch of moisture issues if I forgo a range hood? I didn't run into issues upstairs but it did get super humid on brew day. If I cover the Keggle most of the time will it take care of it? What's working for you guys?

Why isnt anyone building basic electric control boxes?

He had it on the truck thursday. I expect I will get it the first part of next week. It seems that he is getting a lot of new interest on his systems, I assume that he has some in stock, but may not for long.

    Building a false bottom?

Hey guys, I am setting up a new ebiab system and im needing a way to keep the bag off the element. I am thinking a false bottom would be best, wondering what you all have done. Im thinking some sort of steel screen with bolts. Since it doesnt have to fit super tight like it would in a mash...

Why isnt anyone building basic electric control boxes?

I would REALLY like it to have a manual potentiometer over ride for the boil. Other than that it looks sooooo cool. His video could use some work and there could be more pics BUT he was so responsive to my questions I figured what the hell. If it works as advertised, and said blichmann, it would...

Why isnt anyone building basic electric control boxes?

Wow, that controller from electricbiab.com DOES look awesome. Has NOONE had any actual experience with one?? Also I really dont like that kickstarter, atleast not for your only setup, maybe a quick experiment. Who wants completely automatic brewing? Whats the point...

Why isnt anyone building basic electric control boxes?

Well kals is almost twice as much as the high gravity that I'm looking at. I'll be doing biab. Obviously his controller has a ton more features, I wish he built a basic single pid

Why isnt anyone building basic electric control boxes?

I'm torn, I want to do it on the cheap right now so I should grab that DIY kit. At the same time I feel like if I'm going to drop 350 on one I might as well spend the 500 and buy the nice pid one high gravity makes.

Why would i want an voltage and ameter on my controller?

It's as the title states. Looking at some controllers online and the builders are building "deluxe controllers" with these two readouts. Since I'm not really electric savvy I wonder why these are important.

    Wtb simple electric controller

A the add states. For a biab system. Pid preferred but potentiometer would be ok too. Let me know what you have and how much. Thanks.
