Inkbird Giveaway for New product IBS-TH1 Plus Thermometer & Hygrometer

Excellent little device. It's really cool to hook it up to your fermenter and see exactly what your fermentation temps are doing. You can export your data and then in excel make a graph which can imported to beersmith and attached to that recipe. I would love to see a similar device which was...

    FastFerment DIY Ideas

I recently installed a spigot meant for the catalyst fermenter. I read a lot of reviews saying the plastic spigots break too easily. I drilled the hole right around the 1/2 gallon mark and so far I've had no leaks. I also installed a ball lock on a spare lid and use it to do pressurized...

    Bourbon County Stout clone attempt

My fermentation is complete. OG was 1.12 (just a little shy of my goal of 1.13) but I also ended up with more volume then planned. Added a huge starter of WLP007 and finished fermenting in 72 hours and final gravity is 1.041. Going to leave this in primary for a month then transfer to a keg...

    FastFerment conical

Apologies if this has already been answered; Has anyone had luck with pressure transfers using the FF? I bought a lid and drilled a hole big enough to secure a ball lock on it. I've attached a hose from the barb at the bottom to a liquid ball lock and then under 1-2psi of pressure tried to...

    Bourbon County Stout clone attempt

My thoughts that the US 05 is slightly higher attenuating than the wlp007, I figured the fermentation will stall after a bit and I'll get a few extra gravity points adding the dry yeast...

Made this today for my setup. Nothing fancy. Built it out of cedar to resist any mildew and rotting. It's built like a brick **** house.
