My take on the Imperial Hellfire label

I decided to a little less ... um .... cuddly. I mean this is 06.06.06 after all. Unfortunately mine is NOT original artwork, just something cool I found off a google search. Enjoy!

06.06.06 Brew day, post your results, tips, gripes...

I'm finally getting around to brewing mine up today as well. I had to make a couple of minor substitutions due to what my LHBS carries. No one around here carries White Labs yeast, so I am going with the Wyeast Scottish Ale yeast, seems similar enough. Also had to go with Crystal 120L instead of...

    Natural gas to propane

We will definitely be keeping all the old parts as the propane deal is a temporary solution. We will be going to someplace that can hook us up to a gas line eventually. As far as getting new orifices and regulators, is that something I can do at home depot or some such place or are these...

    Natural gas to propane

We just picked up a 3 tier AG set up and it is set up for natural gas. We do not have access to a gas line where we will be brewing, so we will need to reconfigure it for propane. What all is involved in doing this?

    Bought a brewery tonight

Actually, the good part is she did pretty well. She is not going out of business due to lack of business. This is something her and her husband were doing together. Now that they are divorced, it was just a big reminder for her, so she wants out. So we have that going for us, which is nice.

    Bought a brewery tonight

Yeah, I'm going through bouts of elation and paralyzing fear. A lot of stuff to figure out before we really do anything. Need to draw up a partnership agreement, find a lawyer, raw materials supplier, write a business plan, find out if we can do this ourselves or get funding, come up with a name...

    Bought a brewery tonight

A friend and I have been brewing for a while and have been batting around the idea of quitting working for the man and starting our own brewery. We were pretty serious about it but were on a 2 year plan of sorts. Get our recipes down, get some money in the bank, etc. Well, a local contract...

    Template

I used these for the one's I just did. It gives a bunch of different sizes, then you do your lable in Photoshop, or Illustrator or whatever, drop it into the box, and go print, super easy. http://www.4th-vine.com/cdn/download/MSWord_Templates.zip

    Christmas Ale

I used this one http://byo.com/recipe/709.html but let it boil an extra 15 mins or so. Came out just a touch sweeter and a lot hoppier. Cracked the first one open yesterday to rave reviews. :D Now if my IPA would have turned out as good.

    New piece of equipment

That looks nice, it also looks a lot more stable that most of the turkey fryers I have seen.

    Fng

Actually, it's Marcus. "Jackmoe" is a long yet amazingly unintersting story, at this point, it's just easy to remember becuase i am that everywhere.

    Template

Depends on what you mean by template. Are you lookinf for just sizing parameters or looking for a background that you can type text into?

My first attempt on my own

I live on Alki Beach in Seattle, the place where the Denny party landed and "discovered" Seattle. The ship they were on was a schooner called the Exact.

My first attempt on my own

I did a batch of Kahlua a couple of years ag and bottled and labeled it, With that deal I had a friend who was a PhotoShop guru that helped me a bit with it. I called it Opazitat (German for "opacity"). Well, he has moved away and now I have two batches of homebrew that are bottled and...

    Fng

Newbie here from Seattle. Happened across this place doing a search on lableing. Brewed up a couple of batches a couple months ago and finally getting down to labeling. First was a Pyramid SnowCap clone, with a couple of slight variation in hops and boil time. Bottled just before...
