    Looking to convert

Is this something you are currently working on or will be in the near future? I’m more than happy to pay you for a schematic.

Do you have a full schematic drawing that incorporates the above drawing? Thanks

    Looking to convert

I know its been a long time since anyone has responded to this thread. Would you have a drawing that would allow three elements but only the HLT or Boil kettle to be on at one time? I'm ready to move forward on my control panel build and it looks like the back to back option is just not...

    Looking to convert

I know it's been awhile but I was unable to find a DPTT switch which will work. Would there be a way to accomplish this with multiple circuits into one panel to break it apart some? Such as a separate circuit for each of the larger elements.

    Looking to convert

I don't know much about this type of stuff but, I can help look for a switch as well. Just want to be clear on what I am looking for. Would it be a DPTT with all three positions being normally closed?

    Looking to convert

I like the idea of both options. I like that the 5500 would heat the water faster shortening the brew day but I also like the idea of saving money. That being said I would be good with either option.

    Looking to convert

Hello, I am looking for some advice, insight, and just some general input. I currently have a direct fire system that I want to convert to electric. I have a 15 gallon HLT, 20 gallon MT and a 20 gallon Boil Kettle. I would like to have the capability to do back to back brews although not a...

    E-Brewing video series

Hello, Thank you for these videos, they are great! I am in the process of planning my conversion from a three vessel propane system to a three vessel electric RIMS system. Your videos are very informative and very well put together. I haven’t made it through the entire series yet but I will...

    Kettle upgrade questions....

I am looking to upgrade all of my kettles on my single tier 3 kettle system. I am looking at getting the Brewers Hardware Premium Sanitarty Fitting kettles. I have a couple of things that I am trying to get figured out though. Most of my batches are 5 gallon but, I would really like the...

LP Propane Manifold for Honeywell Valves

I just used a MB Sturgis 108220. It's rated for 400,000 BTU. I don't have the gas valves yet but so far it seems to be working great. Not sure if it will work once the automation is up and running but I hope so. I did not install any drip legs. Is this something that is necessary?

Temperature Controlled Burners, Brutus, Banjo BG14, Piloted Honeywell Valve Questions

Just for anyone else looking for the info I did purchase the MB Sturgis 108220 regulator and it works great for supplying two low pressure BG14's. Save a little money by purchasing one regulator instead of two (one for each burner).

    Burner conversion to low pressure

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I got the gas plumping complete (until I get the gas vales anyway) and everything works the way I thought it This Butus build is going to be a learning experience but looking forward to getting it complete and brewing. Thanks again for the help.

Temperature Controlled Burners, Brutus, Banjo BG14, Piloted Honeywell Valve Questions

Ok, I know this is an old tread but can anyone tell me if I would need a single Marshall 299 regulator or will I need one for each burner? I want the ability to run the HLT and Mash at the same time. I'm going to keep the boil kettle at high pressure. If I needed two due to only having a...

Caster on 2 inch square tube with end cap?

On the system that I am currently building I used these https://www.mcmaster.com/#square-tube-inserts/=15d662j (Part #: 60945K31) and I am very happy with how they fit the tube (nice and tight, had to hammer them in with a rubber mallet). I used 2 x 2 x .120 tube and these inserts are good for...

    Burner conversion to low pressure

Thanks for all the info. I am not going to worry about it until I am able to get my gas plumping complete and test it then. I'm hoping to have this complete in the next couple of weeks.

    Burner conversion to low pressure

The video above is exactly what I was expecting. Maybe I won't be able to get those results with the regulator that I am using. Since I'm trying to build this in stages and I do not have the Honeywell gas valves or any of the items to automate the gas yet maybe I will just need to run them on...

    Burner conversion to low pressure

If I try to open the damper wide open the flame gets 3 to 4 foot tall. I was under the impression that the only thing you need to do to convert a high pressure burner to a low pressure burner is change out the orifice to something with a larger hole and change the regulator. I'm not sure what...

    Burner conversion to low pressure

I'm hoping I will be able to get some advice. I purchased 3 BG14 burners https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BV3DYIE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and the low pressure orifice/valve...
