Looking to get close to Grand Teton's Lost Continent Double IPA

For that size of beer, two packets of any of the dry yeasts would do fine. I think maybe split your ate additions even .75 bravo @20 .75 bravo @10 .75 Columbus @15 .75 Columbus @5 .5 Simcoe @15 .5 Simcoe @5 Seems like I get a better range of the profile of a hop with staggered times like that...

Looking to get close to Grand Teton's Lost Continent Double IPA

Ahhhhhhhh, reverse engineering. I love this aspect of brewing my own beer. I personally have never tried this brew but I do enjoy the trial and error of figuring how to brew a replicate something I enjoy. Sometimes you surprise yourself and make something that you like even more. Personally, I...

    non-citrussy IPA's

I don't remember who makes it but I recently saw it in a Maverick (Ogden UT). Uinta Detour DIPA is a solid local one that's not on the citrus side. I emailed them hoping for some info to try and clone it bit they never got back with me so my recipe for it is still in the works.

    Quick turnaround

I've always had a quick ferment with the notty. Without a dry hop I've been in the keg in 7 days. Temps in the low 60's. Good luck!

    American IPA 21-A Brew-Medal-Blog-Repeat

I'm putting this recipe together right now. I'm going to have to sub in pale 2-row for the Marris Otter. A couple quick questions though. I also use RO, when you made your water additions did you just treat just the mash water or treat the mash/sparge water together? What was your target ph...

    Adverse Reaction to Homebrew

Dude, seriously, go see a doctor. All of us half drunk home brewers can't be trusted to tell you what's up. Unless you listen to me, take a couple Benadryl and RDWHAHB. Jk. Hope you figure out what it is

    Aoother weekend, unplanned batch

Sounds good. I've done a black IPA with Motueka a couple times and have definitely been interested in doing some more brews that feature some of the New Zealand hops. Post how they turned out and I'd be interested in the recipe also.
