I scored a 10 gallon cooler from Home Depot for 42 dollars. It's the water cooler style. If you're a veteran - they'll take 10% off so it was about 39 bucks.

Remember those really old pirate movies from the 30's? I'd want a bar that looks like the inside of the capt's quarters. Darkish, lots of wood, slightly nautical in theme. The usual beers and such. I'd have a good lambic/sour beer selection for sure. Specialize in french fries. Chili, bacon...

I'd look at maybe a kriek or some other lambic that requires a long fementation/conditioning. Have a safe cruise shipmate.

We have the same issue in our cabin. Was told by a lady at Wal*Mart to start leaving bars of Irish Spring soap around in the open. On the sink, in the outhouse, we put on in a dish in the loft etc. They don't seem to be eating it at all but we've not had a mouse in the place in 2 years. YMMV

Former Navy - out in 2006 CTI Wasn't brewing then and don't remember it ever being discussed. I do know of a friend in the Air Force who's into brewing heavily AG and kegging... Don't believe he lives on base though.

Define "cooking device" - there are recipe books on how to cook off the heat of your engine block while driving. Manifold Destiny so technically it's illegal to use your car in the driveway/garage. Best bet, imo, it to call the local FD and find out exactly how they view your brew set up.
