we dumped the cable last spring, and really stopped watching television. we check dvd's out from the library, and watch a few shows online, but it's really nice not to have talking heads and crap blaring in the house.
losing cable was made a lot easier by the indians sucking the royal hodge...
did the oats sink to the bottom, or stay floating on the top?
just curious.
i would not put oats in my bottles all i could see them doing is adding more haze, and they'd clog the kegs up...;)
i only have tw interweb. it's fast and pretty reliable, but they are pushing it at forty bucks give or take. they can shove their cable packages up their asses. there's nothing on basic cable worth an additional forty bucks a month, let alone the outrageously priced 'digital service'.
i was glad my kid just hopped on the bus and said bye bye daddy! no tears, or looking back. that was four years ago, now i'm waiting for the 'wrecking of the automobile.' :)
bwahahaha... i think cleveland would send him back to you guys and pay his salary. he sucks, but to be fair, he's not had much opportunity to save anything...
imo, if you want cheap ale, go five gallon ag batches, keep the og under 1.040 (less than 8lbs of grain) and use 1.5oz of hops. it will be a simple, cheap ale, but good for sucking down in the heat. ready quickly too 14-21 days if you keg.
the thing with the gas powered trimmers and me is, once it runs out of string, or i run out of the half gallon of pre-mix, i convert the yard back to 'meadow' status and call it a summer. ;)
as a consolation prize for being cubs fans. i will point you in the direction of your american league counterpart. the cleveland indiands traded back to back cy young winners away the past two year.... ****!!!!!
i also think shapiro will off load our 10 million dollar closer for...
maybe the browns will get lucky and joe thiesman him in the opening game of the season. ;)
fcuk! i'd take vick over those two amadons.... it's gonna be a long season. they're gonna need a new running back too, after jamal breaks himself. lol.
started out doing fly, sorta a waste of time imho. i'm not a purest by the longest stretch of the imagination, nor am i trying to over complicate my brewing process anymore. the batch works plenty well for me, i'm doing mostly pales and bitters (hitting 80 plus eff) and don't need fancy sparge...
i took a year off last sept... i was burned on it and the time away did me good.
i've brewed two batches this past month for my brothers 30th birthday, the first all year, and am enjoying getting back into brewing, but i won't ever have taps flowing like in the past.
i've decided it's a...
