My point is if I couldn't get that stuff at the HB store Id go to Home Depot and get it with the INTENT to brew.

    Alabama...**sigh**

On second thought screw em. If you're in northern Alabama drive a couple hours up to Four Seasons in Nashville and fill up the truck and take it back to Alabama. Or Rebel Brewer is just about 30 minutes from there. If your really feelin frisky go about another 1 1/2 hours north and come drink...

    Alabama...**sigh**

My father in law lives in Jasper,Alabama and I've spent a lot of time there. I love the state but the homebrew law is a freakin joke. Doesn't Home Depot sell buckets, burners, copper tubing, stainless tubing, rubber hose, and propane? Was the ABC over there takin their stuff? If they weren't then...

    Texas Persimmon wine

Yep there definetly hittin the ground already. I live about an hour south of Evansville and we haven't had a frost yet but they're still fallin off the trees. Seems awful early but we cut one of the seeds open and they got spoons in em this year. Not good. My brother in law got a deer yesterday...

    Texas Persimmon wine

I live in Kentucky and I've already been eatin em. Sweet as candy. They're all hit the ground and everything from dogs to deer are eatin them up.

    Drilling problems through pot

I work with SS a lot and I would say you have definetly work hardened it. Life will not be easy puttin that hole in it now. I totally agree with 1/8,3/16,and so on til you get out of the work hardened part.

    Muscadine Grapes

I like the wine they make but I don't like em straight off the vine. Of course a lot of people don't like persimmon wine but I'd walk through hell in kerosene underwear to get a snort of it. Just my 2 cents.

Why do all my beers taste like crap?

I'd be willing to ship a couple of each of these beers to somebody if that would help pinpoint the problem.

Why do all my beers taste like crap?

I got all the ingredients for the presidents honey ale. I was gonna do that next. Do you think I'd be safe.

Why do all my beers taste like crap?

I just stir the day lights out of it before I pitch my yeast. I know where I can get a fridge. It was leaking water from the ice maker so they took it out and told me I could have it. I believe I'll be goin and gettin it this weekend.

Why do all my beers taste like crap?

I'm on the verge of using tap water. I don't like the taste of our water so I figured I wouldn't want it in my beer. There was no evidence of burnt extract and I never squeeze my grain. I lay my stir paddle across my pot and hang the grain off of it for till it stops draining.

Why do all my beers taste like crap?

The water is the only thing I changed I used distilled water in the witbier and RO in the other two.

Why do all my beers taste like crap?

I do partial extracts and use RO water. Both beers are really dry with no aftertaste. I wash everything with oxyclean then soak in star San. They taste the same at three weeks as they do right out of the bottling bucket. Both were fermented between 67* and 70* room temperature. All I know is I...

Why do all my beers taste like crap?

My first beer was a witbier and it tasted great. My last two were an imperial blonde and a fat tire clone wit pecans. The last two are extremely bitter and taste like bad cough medicine. What's up.
