    Brewing room ideas

I have to say, ^^that's a crazy take^^. Having a dedicated brew space with room for all my fridges and brew gear cabinet and sink and keezer and that I can leave my rig set up to brew on a whim's notice is totally "da bomb" - wash down or not (it's definitely not). Cheers!

    Home-made glycol build

There is a device called an "expansion valve" which is basically a metered orifice that causes the densified output from the compressor to "expand" into a much less dense state which enables thermal carrying capacity when it hits the evaporator. As for electronics, in the end you want to...

Keg Cop: Keg Monitoring and Control

Is Plaato even a viable option these days? I thought they dumped the HB market some time ago and the software was going away as well. Weight should have the potential for greater accuracy as there's no exposure to over/under registered pours (or even "ghost pours"). That said, I've been running...

    Double milling grain?

fwiw, I never double mill, but along with my primary mill which is set up for barley malt and is never changed, I have two semi-retired mills that were sub-$100 new and no longer pull grain in when run in their original direction. But they still work great with the rollers swapped around so...

    Tubing lengths

I recommend ignoring any article or purported "calculator" that starts off with a bogus line resistance table that implies 5 feet of 3/16" ID beer line is sufficient for good pours. Instead, use the only line length calculator worth using... Cheers!

Yeah, the "dirt" thing is news to me as well. What I got from what I grew was more of a less intense "Cascade" spectrum of character 🤷‍♂️ Cheers!

    Tubing lengths

btw, I should have noted that many folks find a 5.5 foot length of the 4mm ID line to be sufficient. Cheers!
