I have a sight glass set up from bobby as well however its only on my HLT. I have had 200+ degree water in it with out a problem. But I have never soaked it in any cleaner just a water/ soap rinse

I acually have used a bazooka screen in my rubbermaid cooler and never had a stuck sparge. But then I batch sparge. Seems like the braided ss is more flexible under pressure than the screen. Unless I'm wrong.... please forgive a noob!!

Yea the filter I have is a GE single filter home system for like under the sink. It is connected to the spigot outside of my garage so the pressure from that pushes it out at a decent rate... about a gallon in 40 sec or so. Haha yea the fire extinguisher was a last minute wild hair.

There is the slotted angle iron that you can get at home depot. It is what I used to rase my burners up. Something to look into?
