    Thank You!

The cool part of this forum over other forums, is that all the guys and gals here are more down to earth, friendly, and want to help share their experience and knowledge. There are no so called "experts" or "masters" here who because they have been brewing longer, think that anything they do is...

Need suggestions for my next brew, tomorrow !

My suggestion would be an Apricot Wheat. Brew a nice crisp, clean American wheat, and either add actual apricot puree to the secondary for a real apricot taste, or you can add apricot extract at bottling/kegging time.

Pint is a legal measure and not subjective.

I did mention it in my earlier post, but wasnt too clear on it. I had been told "Mind your P's and Q's" was a saying pub and bar owners would say to their waitress staff, reminding them to mark down on a piece of slate how many pints and quarts they sold for the night, so the owner could...

Pint is a legal measure and not subjective.

Yup, my first intro to the metric system was early in high school, but thought it was weird that a certain product was sold in either grams or ounces. :cross:

    Good Beer?

I have only brewed two extract beers in my brewing life. My first was a creme ale from Brewers Best, and the second was a wheat from True Brew. Both were great beers, and I honestly was sad when they were both gone. Especially the creme ale, as that batch was friggin fantastic. I went all...

Pint is a legal measure and not subjective.

I understand the principle of the original point. Some bar and restaurants post "Pints" on their draft bills, and think they can try to bring back some of that ole world charm, but it falls flat. I mean unless you have some bar wench lugging pints and quarts around, and marking her totals on...
