    Do you have the recipe/technique for making the 1gal batch phish880? Or for that matter anyone else?

    Is this something that can be scaled down to a 1gal (besides dividing the above by 5)? I've never steeped grain in such little volume of H2O. Maybe, I could steep in apple juice if I'm willing to deal with a pectic haze. I dunno. Any suggestions?

    my bubbler is still stuck. so i took a gravity reading and i'm at 1.01, in only 5 days! the sample tastes wonderful. funny how sometimes you just need to shut up and remind yourself of papazian's adage.

    yah, definitely used a packet of montrachet. and 4 days of fermenting then nothing. total silence in the airlock. i don't think my fermenter (brew bucket) is seeping CO2, or if it is, i don't know why it would start suddenly after 4 days. is this common for montrachet?

    hi! first time poster (and practically first time brewer). my airlock stopped bubbling about 4-5 days into fermentation! i haven't taken a gravity reading. i'm pretty sure there were no sulfites in my juice, and the OG was 1062. should i stir the lees?
