    PB2 and Vodka

They sell it at grocery stores and on Amazon. You can also get chocolate PB2. Amazon usually has it the cheapest and you can buy 1 pound containers. In my experience, it best to use 1-2 pounds added in the secondary depending on how much flavor you want. Others soak in vodka or water, I have...

    mango and beer

How was the cacao powder in the mash. I thought about doing that in a previous batch, but was afraid boiling it might cause more bitterness.

    PB2 and vodka

If you are that set about making a PB2 beer, try making one using the different ways that have been explained and see which one works best. Experiment and using Google can really help.

    Beer gun foam hell

My beer gun always works great other than the rubber tip falling off. I need to order the new molded one. As long as the keg is properly carbonated, pressure in keg is bleeded off to between 2-6 psi and at least 10 feet of tubing for beer; I never have problems. I don't chill the bottles...

    PB2 and Vodka

Do it how you want man. Just telling you how I used it. I never had any problems with carbonation or head retention. I thought PB2 had the fat removed. It's worked great the several times I have used it. I used 2#. Not sure how adding water will change it. It will not dissolve in anything...

    mango and beer

Not sure it would go well with a RIS, but it's your beer. It's awesome in a wheat! Freeze the mango and add to the secondary in my opinion. From my experiences, more flavor and less risk of contamination occurs when adding stuff to secondary.

    PB2 and Vodka

Yes, it settles to the bottom. It will settle to bottom if you dilute in vodka or water also.

    PB2 and Vodka

I just put the powder directly into the secondary. Put it the fermenter and rack the beer on top of it. It makes a lot of trub, so your final volume will be lower, but the flavor is very good.

Naturally carbonating keg with CBC-1, how much?

I am leaving next month for a 6 week "vacation" at Fort Leonard Wood and have a saison that will be ready to keg right before I go. I want to try naturally carbonating in a corny with some corn sugar boiled in water and add by adding some CBC-1. However, I have no idea how much yeast to add...

stainless hydrometer - does it exist?

Just saw this hydrometer in the new Northerrn Brewer catalog and it me think of this thread. Made out of polycarbonate and they say it's virtually unbreakable. Might be a better option than trying to make a stainless one and a lot cheaper at only $9.99...
