    So I had my first overflow from the airlock with this cider. Added a bag of frozen mixed berries and this morning it was all over the table. I poured a gallon into a different carboy and snuck a taste. I think this one is going to be a winner!

    Totally forgot to take an OG reading before putting in the primary. So I'll let it sit in the primary at least a month before racking. Would I be able to drop a few raisins in it tonight to add nutrient or is it too late?

    Caramel Apple Hard Cider

    I actually put a dab of mccormicks raspberry in a flip top quart when I bottled and it turned out OK. I think I used too much flavoring, as the start is fine but the aftertaste is severe raspberry overdose.

    I did not take hydro readings during fermentation, just waited for the airlock to no longer bubble. My starting OG was 1.062 and finished was 1.022. I think I may not have let it go long enough, as the OP stated his finished was 1.10ish.
