    Better than Guinness Stout.

Feel free. The beauty of home brew is that I and you can brew to our own taste. Many love the taste of Guinness and would not want to change it. I find it isn't to my taste so I'm aiming to brew something Guinness drinkers will recognise but in a form that I enjoy. There's lots of good stout...

    Better than Guinness Stout.

Nah. Good old notty. I'm not trying to replicate Guinness because I don't think it's a great drink. I think most brewers can brew something like it but better.

    Better than Guinness Stout.

Not hard really. I've intended to brew a Guinness style stout with improvements for a bit. I topped up my ingredient with the intention that I may want to do a stout. I wanted to test some new equipment so threw this together on the hoof. I've only just kegged it but of the 6 people who tried...

    Differences between these three beers?

Pale ales are purely just that. A pale ale. In the UK there is no such thing as a English pale ale. It's just a pale ale. They tend to have less bitterness than a Bitter. They are probably in the same class as a summer ale. American pale ales sold here tend to have more bitterness than normal...

Dark Mild Mild Mannered Ale (AG) (E) UK/US

Don't worry. bottle coditioned Ale tends to have a higher carbonation than casked. I've never had bottled mild.

English Porter Brown Porter (AG) (UK/US)

I ain't putting it up unless I know it's better and I've brewed it at least twice. There's no big changes. Like I say just tweaks. I think it'll be several months until I post.

English Porter Brown Porter (AG) (UK/US)

I just killed the keg. I really liked it. I'll brew the original next and see if I'm liking it more than the original.

Regardless if someone is right or wrong please lay off the personal attacks.

    Marmite?

Go for it. It tastes beefy. Try it on toast. you just wave the knife at it. You literally want the least you can get on. It's great added to beef gravy.
