Propane to all out electric build

Good question. But yes, wired correct and done in black wire. More for gauge then color coding. Test fired tonight in water and all ran. Now to learn the BCS 460, mount panel and brew a batch.

Propane to all out electric build

Control Panel time...... Trying to get decals cut and on: Inside: More to come as I get this thing mounted and wired. Also, this is a ebrewsupply.com box that I'm working with. Ryan was so helpful as I was laying all my plans out that I decided to just go for it.

Yes. In the photo those are both 6 gallon carboys. I can get measurements if needed. In garage and down south. More concerned with cooling. Even when cold, inside the fridges unplugged they stay 62 degrees. If I needed to, I'd do a belt or something to stay warm.

    Kegcowboy.com

I am an internet customer and now a local customer of Kegcowboy. I shared a beer with Jeff the other night and he is very regretful of how the business grew over the last 18 months and how the internet side became a cluster. He moved the family a 1000 miles, opened a brick and mortar store and...

Here you go. http://www.homedepot.com/buy/vissani-52-bottle-wine-cooler-mvwc52b.html#.UMFS-uQT79M I got one off craigslist and one on sale "scratch and dent" from Home Depot. I love them. I used the interior temp dial for the first few months and it was almost good enough. Single best...

Propane to all out electric build

Quick update, less ebrew and more eferment. Had the afternoon off yesterday so I did an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Amber and Beirmunchers Blond on the old system. Got the fermenters hooked up to the Johnson controllers. These will be replaced and controlled by the BCS. Panel goes in this...

4 wire to 3 wire 240v adapter cable?

If that's all your running, you are right. For size wire: Find a amp/wire gauge chart and see. It's not only the amp but the distance.

    Beer empting back into keg

Carbed up slow and low. Chilled 3 days prior to tapping. Has Sanke connector so gonna switch that out this evening and see if it makes a difference.

    spa panel question

What he says. Just went through this and it is a cheaper route. It also gives you another breaker inline. Your choice. I like killing all power to the brew area using the spa disconnect when not in use instead of going to the main panel to throw a breaker.

    Beer empting back into keg

I run a fan inside the Keezer to level temps out. Issue is the last 10 kegs fine, now this one is acting up. The other 3 in the Keezer run fine.

    Beer empting back into keg

Ok, hooked up a new keg and noticed after about 30 minutes between pulls I would develop a few inches of air in the draft line at both faucet and keg. Checked both connections and line. No leaks. Cleaned lines and faucet. Still there. Put new faucet on thinking it was not sealing. Still there...

New E-Build - Service Panel Question

If you plan to run just one element at a time, your fine but do put the GFI spa disconnect in for protection. Being 25 years old, I'm sure it's a 3 prong outlet. I was in a similar boat and had read the threads how you can convert to add 4 wires out of your spa disconnect on a 3 prong outlet...

5-1/2 foot DIY Hood for approx. $75

Are you planning to mount the fan to the outside of the hood and then duct from there? Or farther downstream? What is your duct length you have to reach outdoors? I'm going to start mine this weekend. Just need ideas.
