    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

I'm no longer using CBPi but I will try to answer for you. In general more information and quicker responses are available on the CraftBeerPi user group on FB. I don't think there has been any updates to 3.0 really. You want to be using the most recent "master branch". Safe for you to check for...

Sent you a PM. You have options for sure!

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Whoops, sorry. I'd agree with the other poster with terragady boards. I do have some bare versions of these, still but by the time I ordered parts to solder, found the time to solder and sent you one, you might as well just get a terragady board.

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

I know there's an open issue about a feature that'd allow for brewfather integration. I just started using this app and just wanted to add my interest to that, would be pretty cool to get that working! As a further stretch, you can describe fermentation profiles in brewfather - it would be...

Cool! I run mine using vagrant on an osx server (hackintosh ), which was very easy to set up.

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

To any developers out there - a SDK for CBPi3 was just released called swill-sdk. The repo's wiki fully documents swill's API. If you are interested in making your own front end for CBPi3, or extend or integrate it in some way that you'd previously been limited in, this may be your ticket...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Also - not sure if anybody else has noticed this - but it seems to me that an eeprom reset is required on the esp8266 if they'd been powered off for extended periods of time. Maybe coincidental, but has happened several times for me. The reset eeprom tool in fermentrack is working like a champ...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I recently added antennas to my ESP8266 brewpi controllers. I'm curious as to any differences in signal strength as a result, which led me to wonder if signal strength could be added to the debug device connection page. Ping response time may also be interesting to have available on this page...

    widgetlords

Right on. I've got the Pi-SPi-8AI. I expect it it would be quite easy to do, just haven't found the time yet. I have some 4-20ma pressure transducers for volume measurement purposes. Incorporating those is part of the end game.

    widgetlords

I've used widget lords before. I think they have some nice products. I had a positive customer experience. I've been meaning to write some CraftBeerPi plugins for the board I have from them.

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

You look like you are running CBPi2. This error indicates you are missing a dependency - sql alchemy. Did you run the install.sh script? That script should have installed all dependencies for you. To do this, within terminal, navigate to your CBPi folder and run: sudo ./install.sh...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Hey Thorrak - would you consider putting a donate link or patreon or similar up on fermentrack.com and/or github? I owe you a few beer at this point. Producing all those PCBs for testing I know adds up too!

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

This should work... ssh into your pi, then run the following (assumes fermentrack installed with defaults) $ su fermentrack $ cd ~/fermentrack $ utils/wemos/reset_wemos_d1_mini.sh edit: don't actually have to switch branches as I assumed with original comment.

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Hmm. I just got this as well. ESP8266 on v0.10 became non responsive after trying to start a beer with it. Maybe just a coincidence, reflashing v0.10 again now, will go back to v0.9 if this repeats.

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I couldn't get around bad gateway issues with upgrading on jessie last night. Didn't feel like messing around, nor did I care about saving configuration as I only have a single controller running at the time being so I did a fresh install with stretch lite and all is well. Just flashed the...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Yep, there are a number of ways of doing this. One is using a brew step. The other is to set up another "kettle" which shares the temperature sensor of your actual kettle, with it's actor set to the solenoid, and set the logic to hysteresis such that the solenoid will be energized whenever over...

You could still do it, the labels on the RJ11 breakout will be incorrect. Door is now 3v3 GND is now OneWire Data OneWire is now GND 3v3 is now Door You could also buy a new cord for $1.

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

I've been considering iSpindel for awhile now, but the largest hang up for me is the containers. With Fermentrack now supporting iSpindel, I am revisiting. Has anybody looked into and found anything better to house the hardware? Ideally something stainless, or glass with internally threaded end...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

@day_trippr helped me fix up this board quite a bit! It now features correctly wired logic level converters :D, ground fill, and some optional decoupling capacitors. I've added a BOM with possible digikey part numbers to the github page too. I've ordered a set now to test, let me know if you end...
