    Too much hop!

Although fermentation may be complete, you will want to give it a couple of weeks to condition. This will let the yeast "clean up" and produce a better tasting beer.

    A quick question on bitterness

There we go that's a good idea. Instead of having a bunch of different styles, I can just have a couple that is made to perfection

    A quick question on bitterness

Im really into malty beers and I don't care much for bitter beers. This kind of sucks because I want to like as many different styles of beer as possible. So I was wondering... If you drink more bitter beer, will it eventually make it more appealing? Thanks in advance

    Anybody up for a riddle?

    I took each number starting with 24 and multiplied by five and when that did not work I added five to the original number. It took a couple of hours but I found the correct number of coconuts it's 3121 3121 - 1 = 3120. Division 1 3120 / 5 = 624 So 3120 - 624 = 2496 2496 - 1 = 2495...

    Anybody up for a riddle?

Well I've calculated up to 2500 alright But the correct answer is still higher. I think it's about time to say goodnight Simply for the fact that I'm beginning to tire.

    Anybody up for a riddle?

Maybe the hijacker is the pilot. He stole the cargo and jumped leaving eight passengers and chutes behind? I don't know how a pilot could hijack a plane though Edit: realized it had already been answered lol

    Size of first brew kettle

Thanks for the posts everybody. I think I'm going go ahead and get a 5 gal pot for now and just do partial boils for a little bit. This will give me time to save up for a 10 gal pot with a propane burner :rockin:

    Size of first brew kettle

Ok so say if I do get a 10 gal pot... The recipe kit instructions say to do a partial boil. So would I be better off just doing a full boil? How could I convert it to full boil when it comes to hop utilization? Or, do I continue to follow the instructions and do a partial boil in the 10 gal pot?

Thanks for the help everyone. I think I'm going to throw the idea of the 16 qt pot out

    Size of first brew kettle

As far as buying a new pot for all grain, I actually wouldn't mind. I just was wondering if I can do partial boils in like a 16qt comfortably without boil overs

    Size of first brew kettle

I am going to need to buy a brew kettle and I was wondering what size/material I should get. I'm looking to start with extract partial boils and eventually work my way to all grain. So my main question is: would I be ok doing partial boils with a 16qt kettle or would a 22qt be the better route...
