It's got a strong hop flavor. It's been sitting 17 days at room temp (75). I used 4 oz of corn sugar for priming. The biggest thing I notice is that it doesn't have any head, at all, and seems like the carbination is low. It doesn't taste really bad, might take some time to drink it as is...

It's a bit hoppy, but overall not bad. Hadn't thought of the cooking idea. Will have to try that..

Can you do anything with a batch of brew that didn't turn out so well? Has zero head retention, and low co2. Thanks for any advice offered..:drunk:

Rhizomes are supposed to be planted vertically. With 1-2 inches of dirt over them. Sometimes it seems to take forever for them to come up, but usually you just have to be patienant with them...

I wouldn't dig them up at this point. Maybe carefully scrap some of the soil off the top of where you planted them. If you dig them up, you might dislodge the rootlets.
