New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Here is mine that I just brewed ~24 hours ago. It’s only my second brew, ever and my first NEIPA. So far it’s bubbling away nicely. As a new brewer, I was definitely expecting a more rigorous fermentation after reading all 160+ pages on this thread. I’m using 1318. I’m planning on dry...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

First thing in the morning will be the beginning of a double brew day for me. I will be brewing my first NEIPA, and also a summer wheat beer. I may be biting off more than I can chew, but with a couple birthday parties coming up, I want my kegerator filled with some of my homebrews for the guests.

    Converting Kegerator to Dual Tap

Depending on how much you want to spend, something like this would work fine. The included check valve will be a big plus if you're planning on using home brew kegs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N55ZBZW/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

NEW Conical Fermenter - The Catalyst: 3" Butterfly valve, Mason jar compatible...

This is similar to what I was thinking. Or if, maybe, there is a gas fitting I could actually add to my lid to connect my gas to. Then, I could use a solid bung to close the airlock hole (which I would have to hold during the beer transfer because of pressure). Do fittings exist that would...

NEW Conical Fermenter - The Catalyst: 3" Butterfly valve, Mason jar compatible...

I'm curious, is there a way to set the Catalyst up for closed transfer via CO2? I currently own one and love it, but I'm wanting to try closed transferring with CO2, and not sure what the best way to go about it would be.

    Clear beer from a conical

I’m a new home brewer, so take this as what I learned before I kegged for the first time. I don’t have a Fast Ferment, but I do have a Catalyst. Before first using it I had the same question, then I realized they had a sampling port/racking arm attachment. I installed that and fermentation and...

Help finding homebrew store in the bay area...

I live near Fermentation Solutions. It's ok if you need something last minute and they have it on hand. It is small, not a great selection, and their knowledge can be lacking (recommending 1/4" beer line for a kegerator). MoreBeer is definitely the best LHBS I've been to around here.

    New Homebrewing Enthusiast From California!

Hello! I'm new to brewing myself, however, I've been a fan of the hobby for a long time. I tried an extract kit many years ago, it turned out ok, but haven't done much since. This year my wife asks me what I want for my birthday, so I say a homebrewing setup. I give her a few ideas on what...
