It really depends on the time you're putting then in and in what order. I would assume you're chinook for bittering, but when are you throwing in the cascade?

Thanks for this post. I've been trying to find a way to brew lagers to ferment properly and haven't purchased any kits due to my temps never going below 65 in my basement. Do you have to keep changing to ice bottles to maintain the 50-55 degrees that some recipes prefer to lager?

If you noticed fermentation after a few days from the 2nd yeast, you should be fine. RDWHAHB

I double checked the instructions... they only call for 1/2 oz of Willamette hops. Pardon the noob statement, but when is "flame out?"

So this is my 3rd brew, please bear with me. I ordered a Red Hook ESB clone from Austin Homebrew recently and the sheet calls for 1/2 oz of Willamette hops at 15 mins left, but they included 1 oz in the package. Will this give the beer too much of a hoppy flavor if I include the entire package...
