    Plexiglass control panel

Several web sights say plexiglass melts at 320 degrees. If I have a computer fax venting heat what are my odds of this working.

    Modifying a Chugger pump head

I did not change the diameter of the pump head. On the 3/4 inlet I threaded a stainless coupler on welded the tip then welded a tri clover on.

    Herms temp probe

Beautiful. Thanks for the reply and info. I'm hoping to complete my herms soon. I know there will be some learning curve. I just don't want to have to make a big system change once I think I'm done.

    Herms temp probe

I've not brewed on my herm system yet. I have a temp probe at the exit of my mash tun and at the end of my herms coil before the wort goes on top of the mash. Will I regret not putting one in the middle of the mash.

Show us your sculpture or brew rig

Walls are a water proof sheeting from lowes. The floor under the brew stand has a 2 inch lip around it all covered in latex epoxy with a floor drain.

    New keggle build

I put my whirlpool inlet at around the 4 gallon point. (5 gallon batches). Not sure what the proper height is but it works well for me. I also added a removable damn. Whirlpool works even though the heating element is in the way.

    Water Report, Thoughts?

I asked on a tour as well and got the same response. I believe they have a water treatment guy on their staff though.

    Walk in cooler

It's worth a try. I would love a small walk in cooler. My brewery is all electric so I pull a lot of amps. Though I am currently running a deep freezer and the room a/c. I will compare the deep freezer amps to another window unit in a walk in.

    Walk in cooler

I think I've always known I need 2 a/c's. I was just hoping for a miracle idea. My fear is that I cannot support 2 units and everything else on a 60 amp breaker in Florida.

    Walk in cooler

I have a 12x16 brewery. I would like a 4x6 cooler in It. I would use my current window a/c unit for the cooler like Deep Six Brewing. My question is do you think I could put a vent in the cooler wall to lower the brewery temp and be able to maintain steady ale fermentation temps.
