I'd probably be too timid to mention it in a job interview, just because yeah, I'd be nervous that they would take it the wrong way. That being said, I'm taking a music history class this semester and my teacher on the first day told us about how her and her husband are homebrewers. :D

This never really came up when I was growing up. I guess when actually lived with family members (I moved out when I was 16), the only occasional drinking I did was stupid teen GET HAMMERED ON VODKA nonsense. I know one of my friends, when he was younger his parents were fine with him...

God it's tough to choose between DFH and Founders. On one hand, DFH has Sah'tea...but Founders has KBS..... I am glad I don't really have to make these decisions in life.

Brewing this batch was an adventure. Had my first boilover (which was probably me getting cocky and starting with too much water for my pot :p), and had a bit of a mess during the cooldown. Not even fifteen minutes after I set the carboy in place, the capper flies off....and not even thirty...

My first brew just hit two weeks in the bottle, and a taste test was weird. Tasted a lot like cheap booze. Oh well. Just gotta give it more time I guess. Meanwhile, I have a stout and a pale ale in fermenters, and brewing a hefe tomorrow. 8-)
