First Look: SS BrewTech Brewmaster Edition 7 Gallon Chronical

Is your fermenter a special order? I was just on the sight and see no butterfly valves or side coils on the 7 gal. conical. So this must be a Brewmaster conical with a SS brewtech wrap.

I cold crash all my brews but do not use gelatin and I get good flavor and smell from my Hops. Can't really say why the difference with those two beers! Maybe you want to ask the person who brewed them to get his take on it.

    BIAB Question

Mash with the water that keeps the volume from overflowing your kettle then sparge with 168-170 deg. water with amount needed to bring volume up for pre-boil. should be good to go. a lot of home brewers do this due to size of kettle. I've done it, works well.

the good, the bad, the ugly .... bottling experience

About 21 bottles is right, you wont get a full case if everything is done right with 2.5 gal. batch the most I have gotten is 22 and that was squeezing it. You lose some volume from trub. so enjoy what got and let us know how it tastes. :mug:
