    Corny Keg Party Setup

Nice setup. I love those labels you made.

    kegerator kit

If you don't get the manifold you're going to have to use Y splitters or something similar. Not ideal because you would have no way to shut off the gas to a particular line. Another option would be to get a regulator that you can add extra bodies on to later. This is a more expensive option...

    glass auto siphon

Fwiw you can buy boroscilicate (Pyrex) tubes pre made. It's the raw material that any hollow form glass flame worker (read: piper) uses. Getting someone to close an end is easy but I bet any valves etc could be mounted to the open end if you could find the right sized pieces.

    My kegerator

I would give my left arm for one of those. I have the same freezer, so let me know if you're ever in the market for an arm... Cheers dude, that is one awesome keezer.

Side by Side kegerator / fermentation chamber

That is a really sick unit you have there. I would love to have something like that where you can ferment and dispense. Hell, you could even lager in a corney.

    kegerator kit

You would have to add a gas line from your co2 bottle (I would suggest getting a 3 port manifold so it's easy to add to later), and an extra faucet/tower depending on your setup. It's really pretty easy to expand down the road, as long as you plan for it first.

So disappointed in my beer tasting

Wow! I stopped in there with SWMBO and we both got a meal and a couple beers, tab was around 45. Not bad for Kenmore.

What to brew for son's first birthday party

He'd probably like a sweet stout. If it were me I'd make an APA and an Amber. I like to keep it simple, but I don't usually cater to the lowest denominator.

So disappointed in my beer tasting

Sunset is an alright place given it's location. If you live in the allston Brighton area you should check out Deep Ellum. They don't have a huge selection but they have some great brews. I'm pretty fond of the Lower Depths in Kenmore too, they have a great bottle selection and some of the best...

    What next?

Hey Arthur, you should check out the extract kits from places like Norther Brewer. The difference is that these kits include steeping grains and hops. The grains are added to your hot water before anything else and you make a sort of tea from them. After a set amount of time you discard the...

    Coffee into the Keg

Recently I brewed up a porter with the intention of putting some coffee into the secondary. Well life got in the way and I totally forgot to add the coffee until the brew had been sitting under gas (serving pressure) in the keg for a couple days. I tried it a few hours later and the coffee taste...

Is a thermostat control required for kegerator?

Co2 will be more dense meaning it takes up less volume and therefore the reading will be lower. I keep mine in the fridge too and it's always sad seeing the needle move down after filling it up.

    bottle bombs away!

The trub is supposed to settle, it's not odd it's the whole point of secondary. Or was there another reason you thought it looked odd?

    High FG?

Did you correct for temp? That's really not to much of a difference, I wouldn't worry unless the beers you made call for a FG on the lower end of the spectrum.
