    2nd brew octoberfest suggestions

    You've got a ways to go. Wait about another week or until you get consecutive gravity readings. You then want to let it sit at 60 degrees for 48 hours. After the rest you want to transfer to a secondary to lager for 3-4 weeks at 34-38 degrees.

    Head to HD or Lowes and go to the painting section. They should have some long plastic trays that fit tubes and what not in.

    Star san users

    I mix up a gallon at a time. From that gallon I'll fill up a spray bottle and then I'll put just enough in to fill a large shallow container to sanitize my hoses and what not.

    I want a smoker...

    The best thing about a BGE is it's not just a smoker. It may seem like a lot of money but remember you can cook damn near anything on it. Checkout eggfests and craigslist. You may be able to find one for $300-$400. I use my Egg at least 5 times a week. Gets more use than my stove/oven.
