    I too have the same recepie going but I mixed the Nottingham with Wyeast 1056 (1056 didn't takeoff for 2 days so I Added the noting ham) now it's had an active fermentation for 3 weeks@ 68 Degrees. I checked it last night for the first time and its @ 1.012 ( OG was 1.065 ) so it's about 5%...

    Just picked up the rest if the ingredients I needed for the zombie dust got a great deal on the citra 7oz for 6.50 ;) can't wait to brew it up. Skeezer have u ever left it in the primary for the full 3-4 weeks before keging or do you recommend using a secondary for the dry hop stage?

    Ok so this is a total newb question (only brewed 20 gallons so far) what is "first wort hop" Is it the firs hop you add? Why does beer smith have a tab for it what's the significance. Why not just say the time to add it. like 20min or 60min why the extra acronym? I told you stupid newb question.

    I've had this fermenting for about 9 days now and the airlock is still bubbling away about 1 bubble every 30 seconds also there is a layer of crasen I don't know how to spell it the foam on top is still about 2" thick how long does it usually take to dry out?

    Nice man I'm also trying my first cider ( right now in primary bubbling away) ferm chamber smells like apples. :) i have 2 IPA's under my belt and a third ipa on week 2 so Definently a newb but I totally live this hobby.

    You said you used 2 oz of yeast energizer? I only used about 1/2 an oz 1/2 tsp per gallon =3 tsp do you think it will take longer to ferment now? Does the energizer speed up the fermentation?
