thanks for the reply alex yeh i think the homebrew shop pulled a fast one on me ,shoddy quality i wont be giving them my custom again...the other kit they sent me the yeast packet had a split in it that looked like it had been hit on the corner of something sharp yet it was under a big...

i bought a couple of kits online at a certain homebrew shop i wont mention and they are practically out of date...i got a brupaks special lager kit which includes the yeast,hops and canned extract and the yeast is like 2 months out of date ..its a sachet of saflager s 23 yeast..and the canned...

f*** me there are both leaking....are these barrels cr@p or what ive tightened them as much as possible and they are still leaking...im getting annoyed now.....has anybody else had trouble with these barrels or is it just me!

got no bloody bottles....oh bugger...the fricking things still leaking,its prob just a bit of grit in the seal or something so im gonna clean the tap on my other keg and swap it over.....just shows u how 1 thing can trip u up,i thought i planned this well i cleaned and sterilized everything and...

damn ive just checked it again and its still leaking slightly....any suggestions folks!

ive just kegged my beer and noticed it was leaking from the tap (kingkeg top tap barrel) so i had to tilt the barrell and stick my hand in to tighten the nut,ive had to do it twice....my hand was in touch with the brew.id sterilized it about 5 mins before but im worried ive buggered me brew...

this is my first atempt.......i got a muntons premium santas winter warmer on the go...ive had it in primary for a week and wondered what to do with it.........should i just prime it with 70g of dried malt extract and rack it to a barrel for 3 weeks and see how it goes.....or could i stick it...

any one know what equipment i need to get started with the king keg....im in the uk so if anyone can point us in the right direction ...does anyone have one of these with a co2 setup ...any info will be much apprieciated!....cheers!:)
