On that note, I see that SS Brewtech have discontinued all non-TC brew kettles. The only non-TC is the 5.5gal, and it's marked down so I assume they're just trying to get rid of em....

Dang thanks for that info Paul. I was considering the Foundry too and was worried about exactly this. Ended up going with a SS Brewtech kettle that I can bridge across two burners on my stove, feeling better about that decision now even though it's still not exactly speedy. 240V isn't an option...
