    Sparkolloid

    I have a grape/blackberry going now. Prob os I dont think its a goo idea to strain out the fruir and put it in the the skeeter pee. Not sure how to get the yeast iff if this ine to use...though a hint of blackberry sounds good. Im on day 2 of my Blackberry fermintation.

    Back sweet vs. Carbonation

    Learned a lot here. The Raspberry batch was stabilized and back sweetened per advise given i have about 9 days more to wait to bottel. Yooper....how long can wine sit in the secondary after I have done this? Would it hurt if I wait a month or two before I bottel?

    Ok. Guess i should have googeled it. Thank you. Seems my hbs doesnt carry it. Do you think i can skip it? Replace it with something else? Or is it best to search the net for a place that carries it and not mess with the recepie?

    14 cans red grape consontrate. 3 bottels of 46oz blackberry juice. 5 lbs blackberries. I have 1 to 2 cans consontrate and 1 more black berry juice to backsweeten if need be. Added enough sugaer to go to 1.1. Could add like 4 or 5 more lbs sugar here if you think i should.

    Is this too strong? 1.100 is what my must measured. It says it will prob be about 14% I do plan to back sweet'n with juice at the end....so should bring that down a tad. I would add water but in out of room. Added yeast nutes and pitching yeast.

    Cork advise

    I have been able to use #9 corks with my hand corker. I do get a tad damage to the top of the cork but nothing that would hurt the seal.

    Project 2 looks clear. Nice rose color. I racked it again last night..... almost no lees on this one. I back sweetened...add potassium sorbate....and 5 campdin tabs put lid back on and now it sits... was gonna bottel it in 11 days and put in my basement......how long can it sit like this in...

    What is enrgizer and nutrients I kinda think the nutrients is self explanatory... food to help the yeast but what is the enrgizer? I have nutrients but no energizer. Was gonna try to do a batch with just nutrients.

    I did my invintory. I have the following: 22 cans of grape frozen consontrate juice. 4 bottels welches farmers choice black berry juice 48oz each 30 lbs sugar 5 bags 1lb frozen black berries Pectin enzyme Campdin tabs Potassium sorbate No other adutives. This is screaming...

    Back sweet vs. Carbonation

    K-sorbate and Potassium Sorbate are same? Use Sorbate to "kill" yeast? AND once yeast is dead, the sweet will stay in wine... but how do you carbonate and keep sweet in? If you need yeast cells to carbonate, dont they keep going till surgar is gone...or till top blows?

    Alch teading.

    Thank you. My first batch was strong enough to put my buddies wif on her butt with only 2 glasses. Ill try to be better down the road.
