I disagree, I strain my wort when moving from my kettle to my fermenter. Not only does it help to get some of the larger particulates out, but it also helps aerate the wort and in some cases depending upon how fast I transfer it causes it to foam up quite a bit due to aeration. I would think...
I have seen this in my secondaries numerous times only to clear up after a few days and be gone before bottling. As long as it looks like little bubbles I would think it is just normal yeast activity completing the fermentation process. All of the beers I have seen this on personally like I said...
No a couple of those still aren't on Netflix but they were worthy enough to note since you can get them other places like Hulu, On Demand, etc. The majority of those shows however are on Netflix.
Jasper and AIH also have an excellent amount of extract clones as well as AG clones.

I just ordered everything so I probably won't brew it up until next weekend. Planning on a 2 stage fermentation with 1-2wks in the primary, 2-3wks in the secondary, and then 3+wks in the bottles. I will probably test a bottle of it after 2wks just to see how its going and gauge where its at. Not...
MENOTU - I will for sure. I am a huge fan of bourbon barrel flavored stouts. KBS is an awesome one however hard to get for us so hopefully it turns out. Thanks for the AG link as well, once I make the jump to AG I will definitely give that one a try as well.
Good looking out Homercidal, currently I am using an immersion chiller until I go to a bigger system but I'll keep that lesson noted in the archives until then. :)
We have a nasty snow/rain mix the last couple days here in Holly. Temps were in the high 30's this morning on my way into work with white stuff falling from the rain clouds. :( I hate this state but in a few more years I will be complaining about how hot it is everyday and how much I can't keep...
I've just finished my first wit and am hoping the outcome does not turn out the same. Everywhere I have read and researched prior to brewing this current batch warns that the coriander can be a vicious beast that takes wks and sometimes months to mellow out.
Hopefully in your case letting it...
Just ordered my ingredient kit for this bad boy, can't wait to get this one started. If anyone is familiar with KBS it is hard to get here in Michigan and rather costly. It's going to take awhile to condition and let the flavors settle so I'm going to be on the edge of my seat for a couple...
Should be fine, make sure your temp has been staying within the target range for your yeast that you chose. You could give the fermenter a swirl to try and suspend the yeast and get them going again. If your temp is on the low side you might try raising it up a couple degrees to get them going...
I have an aluminum turkey fryer and burner that I have used as well as a 10gal stainless steel Bayou Classic brew kettle. Both work well but the stainless steel does seem to hold its temp and work better due to the heavier duty bottom it has which makes comparing them apples to apples kind of...
