I believe one the members (Ted Seaman ?)of Knaves owns and operates the home brewshop in St. Charles. I teach in St. Charles and frequent that shop for most my needs. I'll ask "Who's Rhoobarb?" It will be great to put a face to the name.
Cheers!
Greg
Lowe's or Home Depot will have all the parts you need as shown by Desertbrew. My spouts are identical to Desertbrews. However, I use a stainless steel braided hose as my manifold.
You can get started fairly cheap with 10 gallon coolers and make fine beer. Check out my 10 gallon brewery in the gallery, very simple. I am proud of it!
Welcome back, I was wondering where you had been. I think you received more "beer mugs" on your signature while you were gone :drunk:
P.S. When are you going to Packers game? I am going to Lambeau on 9/25. I'm also going to pick up some New Glarus Raspberry Tart.
I finally got around to posting some pics of my setup and brew session today (See the gallery). It is a very simple 3 tier brewery. My sparge drip works great. So far I have been pleased with all my brews. I hope to enter the Red Ale I brewed today in a competition at Millstream Brewery on...
I was watching Fox New's coverage of Katrina Relief and saw that Anheuser Bush is canning water at the brewery and sending cases to hurricane refugees . They are white cans that say drinking water on them with the A/B eagle crest

Yep, there's nothing like a homebrew after a day of teaching and coaching 6,7,8th graders to help keep one's sanity.
Oh, I forgot, June,July, and August.
