    hmm, well. again this will be my second beer. so i'm trying to keep it simple. But i am later on gonna add squash. the reason i will try to add what they recomend is to see how their recipe plays out. but once i've done that i will play with it more! thanks so much!

    Also, I would need help reducing my recipe. Since its all Pre measured to a five gallon recipe. Or do you mean add everything and just use on gallon less water? Again this is my first beer.

    Thanks! So it sounds like I could do both batches and just leave them in their respective carboys? It is a five gallon recipe. So I guess, since this is my first batch, If I out that in the five gallon car boy during fermentation it would have to much kroisen and blow off?

    Hay, I'm new here and just got a home brewing kit. I did not get a stainless steel brew pot yet. I plan on buying a turkey fryer. But till then I wanted to do my first batch. My GF and I have a 5 gallon Canning pot ( Enamel Stock Pot). Is this ok to brew in? Thanks in advanced.
