    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

It's not the prettiest girl on the block, I'm really bad at vinyl lettering and drilling holes in metal. Powering up the pi by itself I can get all the ssrs working, and the temp probe registers. Now I just need to grow a pair and plug the whole thing in.

    Switching to eBIAB

    Switching to eBIAB

Making progress on the wiring, just need to attach the outlets and wire the raspberry pi up

    Switching to eBIAB

Ah ha, yeah they're similar, there's a tab on them for a flat head, thanks

    Switching to eBIAB

Started the front panel, grossly underestimated my need for terminals. Happy with the layout thus far, anyone know how to take blocks off these auber switches. Can't seem to figure it out.

    Switching to eBIAB

Yeah it was my feet, and a handheld drill with various brewhardware step bits, and some Chinese hole saws. The step bits were probably a little dulled from the like 15 holes I drilled in my old keggles. And one of the guide bits on the hole saws actually snapped in half after barely getting...

    Switching to eBIAB

Well folks, always buy the bigger box, no way I'm putting everything in the box I bought, at least auber will let me exchange it

    Switching to eBIAB

Well my kettle shipped today, and everything from auber should be here Thursday. It is getting exciting.

    Converted kegs

I've got 3 converted keggles to sell I created this 3 vessel setup but I am moving to an ebiab setup The HLT has a sight glass, heat shield, and dip tube. The mash tun has a recirculation hole drilled at the top for a locline fitting, a false bottom, dip tube, and thermowell. The boil kettle...

    Switching to eBIAB

Alright I think I get it now, I'll update my diagram, the switches are illuminated ones from auber, will they need the neutral?

    Switching to eBIAB

Making the move to electric. I have a 3 vessel keggle setup, but I need to shrink my brewing footprint. I toyed with keeping one keggle and adding a rims tube for mashing and then gas firing one keggle. But decided to go to a full ebiab setup. I've got a spike kettle on order and want to get...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Hello everyone, Im planning on building out a craft beer pi box and wondering if anyone has ever hooked up a usb plug to a ds18b20 temp sensor. Basically I am thinking of using a usb panel like this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=9SIACJF6J85047 to get the input from the...

    120v RIMS controller

So I found this over on brewhardware.com. https://www.brewhardware.com/product_p/tempcontrol_ipb16.htm what do I really miss out on by going with this option?

    120v RIMS controller

I am planning on adding a 120v RIMS tube into my current 3 vessel 1 pump system. First step will be to create the control box. I took a shot at diagramming a plan for making it work. I'm planning on using CraftBeerPi as the brains of the operation, I currently use it but only to monitor...
