Stupid N00B question... but can you operate two kegs off a single valve regulator. I assume you can if you split it, and run both brews off the same pressure?

Hey Bill... We put two cases of those brown bottles to GOOD use this weekend, bottling our stout! :D I've searched things like carboy, keg, Corny, beer, brewing, etc... to varying degrees of success. incidentally, I found a guy around here (Lake County) who's selling Corny's for $24 a pop...

that would be REALLY helpful kornkob. I've never used CL until starting this hobby, and I never seem to look in the right place for stuff, nor have I mastered the search feature. That immersion cooler and brewpot will arrive JUST in time for this weekend's AG session.

With a little luck, and some planning, we'll be attempting our first AG this weekend. We're doing an Irish red, the recipe was conceived last night in bed with the help of Beersmith (how's that for a threeway? LOL) which seems like it should be a simple, straightforward brew for our first AG...

Let's see... this weekend we're bottling the porter (can't WAIT to taste it again) and we'll be racking my IPA to the secondary and starting the dry hop. My parents are coming up to visit, so I'm anxious to show my dad how it works, as well as to let him try the bock. Should be interesting...

Our LHBS is offering a good deal on base malt, but in 55 pound bags. How long will base malt stay good, fresh, viable, whatever... if it's unmilled? Thanks!

It's an interesting dilemma. For me, my other hobby is wilderness camping/canoeing/backpacking. The nice thing about that hobby, is aside from a canoe (someday!) I've got virtually everything I need, and can pack up and go away for a weekend on a moment's notice. It's not something I need...
