I'd say the design will do you just fine. I think most use 1/2" rigid copper tubing and I'd cut slits anywhere you don't have a 'T' or Elbow joint. I know there are folks who successfully just piece the manifold together w/o soldering.

I unfortunately have to work this weekend (again :mad:) so I'll have to pick up on Monday (hopefully). Bill, will you be around on Monday at 3:00 or so?

Cheezy - When you finish BSG and the withdrawls kick in, Caprica offers a little something. It tells the story of how the cylons were created originally. It's not the best thing I've watched, but it's pretty well written and Alessandra Torresani is one fine looking little cylon... ;-)

Get a stencil kit and number your kegs. Spray paint a number on each. Then you can keep a separate spreadsheet/log tracking the maintenance.

Take a small sample of your wort and mix it with a couple drops of iodine. If conversion is complete, the mixture will not change color too much. If it is not ready, the mixture will be purplish black. I have also used Iodaphor for this in the past.

+1 on the dual stage controller. That plus a reptile lamp makes for rock steady temps.
