Well stupid/ lazy me didn't clean out the MLT after satudays brew, the residual wort and grains seperated and I left it for a day because I was busy. This morning I went to the garage to...

    Small Beers

I would like to do some small beers or what other brewers call session beers and wanted to know if I should use rice hulls and how much if so? My concern is my MLT is a converted keg and I don't know if I would have an adequate filter bed with out the hulls. Oh and recipes for session beers...

I just think 5 grand is a bit on the cheap side, cut a guy a good deal. They will make 5 grand on the beer the first day it's released off of homebrewers alone who will sit aroud and say " my beer was better than this crap". And yes I will be one of those homebrewers.

    Why is my temp climbing?

wild guess in 3 2 1. I'm totaly guessing it would be the chemical reaction of the enzymes breaking carbs down to sugars. All chemical reactions give of energy in one form or another so in this case I think it was heat and in a new cooler with proper sealing and insulation thats what makes sense...

    Sam Adam's Brew Contest

I almost did but $5,000.00 as a one time royalty seemed lame when you consider what the R+D on something they would formulate themselves would actually cost. They could do better like .5 cents on every bottle of the winning brew profit to the winner.

I don't like pumpkin beer, or caramel or vanilla

That was my thought. The coco fat (white chocolate would prally make a scum on the surface plus it would make cleaning the used carboy hell.
