    Overflowing foam!

Agree. With bigfloyd. Way overkill for aeration. Saturation takes only a few minutes.

    First brew tasted

Nice job its drinkable is a good start. Could be the pitching temps being to high for the strain for the off flavors. What strain? Being :drunk: is funny. Controlled temps and maybe trying a protein binder like warfloc will help the hazing to keep proteins out of your fermentation process...

How Long Do You Maintain The Temp?

As most advice says single cell organization happens in the first temperature response within 48 hours. After that it can effect a larger response but temperature is very important at pitching time more so than stability for the last 72 hours or so depending on the strain. Large temperature...

    All foam corny keg

Disturbing the keg is no different than shaking a beer then opening it. Releases the suspended or absorbed co2 causing foaming. 20 psi is ok for force carbonation, but two days is a day too long. Also dependent on the temp and feed lines. Try 30 psi for one 12 hour period then reduce to 12 psi...

    20,30,40 or 60 plate Chiller?

Recieved the b23 60 plate chiller today its huge in comparison. So I tried a hot water run. Had to turn my water down to control temp because it was the same as my tap temp 48f. Granted water has a lower viscosity but very impressed. Now to build a stainless stand to mount it on.

    20,30,40 or 60 plate Chiller?

I save the water from a brew day and now it takes less than 30 gallons of water compared to 50 to cool my wort. But time savings is my benefits. More time for ysrd work etc.

    20,30,40 or 60 plate Chiller?

I purchased the B23-20 plate chiller two years ago and brew twice a month 10-13 gallon batches, took about 50 gallons of water at 48-55 f from a well at 40 psi to cool my wort to approx 72 F. So my concern was water saving so i purchased the B23-36 60 plate chiller. Well now i can run my march...

    Burner for keggle

The whole point is BTU output. Too much and you will burn your hard earned wort. Banjo burners work just fine and you will find that the output is more than you will ever use unless you have the ability to stir the whole time.

    Raising Chickens

Just remember that even dumb chickens will produce better if happy. Heat in the winter is always better for egg production. No heat no eggs or less eggs.

    Mashing and sparging

Conversion as you know depends on a pile of issues related to water and PH. Mash at 150-155 on most beers these days for a good hour. LOL. depends how much time i have. Been fly sparging since day one. Use a march pump for transfer also. Just made a new sparge arm and used it today. worked very...
