    Boil-off rate

High humidity is so right my friend. I cut the grass today at about 95 degrees here in Bacliff/Galveston and thought I was going to literally die! I am getting to old for this! It's the first time in several years that I actually got the garden hose after myself afterwards to cool off because...

    Blichmann Therminator

Ah! Sorry I left that out! Yes, one thing also I said but it is pretty important make sure you completely drain your therminator before the freezer storage... I take it out of the freezer soon after I have the mash resting on brew day and place it in my 5 gallon star san bucket. It sits there...

    Blichmann Therminator

You can flush again after it cools off, but honestly I think I STILL have a small particulate inside the thing here or there. I got it used from a friend who completely clogged it up. I never really cared though, it runs and flows great, and the oven treatment did break most everything up but...

    Blichmann Therminator

This looked like mine some years ago now... It looks like irish moss there to me? Sure that ain't what I am seeing? I had a problem with irish moss, so I switched to whirlflock and had no more particulates. Even still, a good trip in the oven at 450-500 for an hour and it won't matter what is in...

Blichmann Boilermaker and Shirron Users please Help!!! :)

Why? Rinse it out after brewday, drain it and put it straight into the freezer. Thaw it out an hour before brewday, recirculate boiling wort through it for five minutes and then chill as normal. I do hit mine in the oven at 500 for an hour too, but only about every 5 to 8 batches... Never...

Post small scale commercial brewery systems here

I have seen this video. This thing is a absolute amazing system!

    Beer Filtration System

Looks good! You are not far from me. I'll have to do a taste testing! Back when I filtered a bit, I always ran a 6-pack of swill through the filter first. It worked very well, and you can get a 6-pack of bud for like nothing...

Deep Six Brewing System - v3.0

Brewmation: An amazing turnkey brewery (not a Brew-Magic vs B3, but with comparisons)

No actually. I have never to this day had a problem with my pilots. So sure, I can deny that. On a real windy day, maybe (and of course) they will blow out, (who cares) but you actually gotta go to an outside phun-brew-in to be one my friend and I go to many brew-outs... You won't be bringing...

Brewmation: An amazing turnkey brewery (not a Brew-Magic vs B3, but with comparisons)

Just so I understand this correctly, you have never brewed on any system correct? B3, Magic, or the one you say you have now?

1.5" 16 gauge square tubing strong enough for single tier?

That's funny, because I actually do build spaceships! :) I'd like to debate your Bro about CG as well then, because it ain't all about being the cheapest, nor the lightest my friend... Several hundred (potential) pounds of boiling water on top of a 3' tall 70 pound frame is not nearly as...

How do you cut your square tubing? Angle Grinder?

For a very quick one-off cut, I used my angle grinder with a steady hand. Makes a great cut! For 95% of the main cutting though, I must confess I had access to a diamond blade cold saw! :)

Brutus 10 Clone Control Panel Help Please...

Ah... This could be it! It seems like your wiring looks ok... I have seen other led switches that require a ground, but I don't want to say without knowing the part number... Looks like you may have figured it out!

A More-Detailed Set of Plans for Brutus 10

No problem at all my friend... Thanks! :) They really ain't much, and they really aren't that hard to find, and they don't add a bunch more detail, but it's kinda cool for me to keep track of them, and when I get emails (2 tonight from Australia, and 1 from Brazil) I kinda have fun sending...

A More-Detailed Set of Plans for Brutus 10

Actually my friend. Kindly remove this link to my plans in your post... I don't know who this is as I have not been able to find a damn email on his site but I gave no one permission to repost my plans. Hell, I give them away to those who ask nicely... I have no copyright issues as I don't...
