    If I top up with wine A that has been sorbated and back sweetened.... shouldnt that... 1 stop the fermenting since there is potassium sorbate in it...OR 2 start back the ferminting since there is sugar in it? thanks

    Yes you can skip the hydrometer, you dont need it to make wine.....its not yeast But to get an esitmate on ABV you are going to need one!

    I made the white grape been in jug about month and ahalf, racked at 30 days on the bottom is very little lees but there is a haze about the first inch on the bottom. what is this? I plan on sorbating and bottling the next week end and didnt know if this will harm it in anyway.

    I have a brand new right out of the box portuges (sp?) floor corker! pretty and red so to get this right.....first time bottling I fill the bottle.....and push the cork in!?...thats it?

    dont the corks need to be wet so slide in the bottle? If I use your method (that Im sure works great ;) ) will the corks be moist enough to be pushed in? thanks Yoop
