Sending a couple bottles to some friends, figured I'd mark them up so they don't forget who the beer is from! bottle was still damp in the last photo, it did come out fairly even. Had the etching paste left over from our wedding, we etched a bunch of glasses for that.

Couldn't you just drill it out a little? The thickness of that nipple seems a bit on the heavy side to me.

No reason it shouldn't work. If you're running 2 burners wide-open you *could* ice up the valve in the tank though.

seem fine or test fine? I wouldn't trust them unless you can have continuity from end-to-end. Don't know about switching out the probes while powered on, I would be very hesitant to do that.

check the connections on the mash PID, I had mine flashing orAL last evening when I powered it up with the RTD disconnected

Would you go to the locknut because the fitting is NPT and not NPS? or some other reason?

So in the spirit of preparing for the future, I guess I should have my welder put 2 extra couplers in the HLT for a HERMS coil when he does the other couplers

would that work? I was thinking that with the curve of the keg a plain nut would have too much gap to TIG on
