Wanted: 3 Floyds/Surly Brews for Southern California Brews

Just checked the liquor store, can get furious, bender, bitter, cynic, surlyfest and hell. Also have a wide variety of summit beers too if those interest you. Edit: sorry for the repeat, my puppy hit send on his quest for a treat...

need some opinions on transfering to secondaries please

If not lagering like the post before, I'd say leave it for a bit. The yeast will clean up after themselves and then your beer will be extra good and clearer also. I got a winter warmer going on 6 weeks in primary now. Headed straight to bottles and won't be touched until Christmas.

need some opinions on transfering to secondaries please

Leave in primary. Most on here only really use secondary for long aging, dry hopping or oaking/flavoring. Let it sit primary for 5 to 8 weeks.

Wanted: 3 Floyds/Surly Brews for Southern California Brews

Never had Union Jack...looks impressive. For Surly, I can get all of the year round series, Furious, Bender, CoffeeBender and Cynic. Some of the seasonals could be difficult, I can still get Hell, will be able to get SurlyFest, it should be releasing soon. Wet won't be released until...

Wanted: 3 Floyds/Surly Brews for Southern California Brews

Well, not totally sure. I'd like to try a Pliny, as I can't get them out here...but if thats asking too much I understand. Maybe some Racer 5? Not really familier with any of those except Stone, Rogue and Lagunitas. What Surlys are you looking for?

Normal. Shouldn't see a ton of airlock activity in a secondary.

    New brewer needs IPA help!

Hey there, another sort-of noob here. One of the best IPAs that I have had is Surly Furious, never had the Lagunitas IPA, but I know Surly uses a ton of hops of the Amarillo and Warrior variety. Northern Brewer recently put out a kit in collaboration with Surly, but didn't mention the hop...

I get itchy fingers when it comes to glassware and collecting...needless to say I've got a decent collection. Usually drink whatever from my "Mine" pint.

Best cheap commercial beer you've ever had?

Ohhhhh, it ain't THAT bad!!!!....haha I'm a college student who prefers not to bring homebrew to parties so people who don't appreciate it want it. And to stay on topic, since I live in Minnesota, about 6 miles from Summit Brewery, their E.P.A. is one of my go-to's
