I don’t immediately recognise it but thinking of somewhere that floods in the UK. Is it York?

Happy to talk about Wednesday :) They were formed in 1867 by Steel and factory workers who used to get Wednesday afternoon off to play cricket. No cricket in winter so they decided to try their hand at football and so The Wednesday were born - later changed to Sheffield Wednesday. They played...

Name That Skyline - Picture Game

I grew up in Sheffield and could see the stadium from my bedroom window (house isn’t quite in this photo) so have always been a fan - played a big part in my life growing up and still. Went to see the Queen open the kop roof, remember the horror of the disaster, seen it under feet of water when...

I'd better try again. Windsor race course is where I got jabbed - so I'm very fond of that place :)

OK then sticking with the Stadium theme - one close to my heart, but quite famous for one reason or another. I think I've inexpertly hidden the name - but I bet there's other clues if you zoom in too close... Might be quick then!

I think I recognise the red & blue seats - is it Hampden park? Not sure what the event is? Commonwealth definitely it seems.

If you could only have 3 yeasts

Great thread. I tend to use dry yeasts so I can have them in the fridge and am ready for spontaneous brew days. I’d go US-05, S-189 and then a ‘Belgian’ although this is where I’d be interested in opinions as I’ve yet to settle-on a dry ‘Belgian’ yet. I do like Mangrove Jack’s M47 Abbey.

    Special B in a Doppelbock

Nice one. I’ve a keg of it on at the minute and it is good. Although you’re right it is very dark - almost like a Baltic Porter.

    Milky NEIPA Lactose Indecision

Hey - you could have it sit in fermentation or even boil and add after conditioning. That way you can add levels to taste- get your dosage just right. It’s going bad down Hillsborough eh?

    Warm Conditioning A Lager

I don’t know where in the world you are but - assuming Northern hemisphere - as it’s winter can you lager the keg outside? How’s the weather?

Is adding Baileys to my Stout before secondary fermentation a good idea?

I don’t know if you’ve seen Tiny Rebel’s version of this but it’s an amazing beer. My guess is they use whisky and a cream flavour though. Imperial Irish Cream Stay Puft Tiny Rebel Brewing Co on Untappd https://untp.beer/4KxD0

    Milky NEIPA Lactose Indecision

We certainly need a couple of forwards at least. I’m not sure where goals will come from otherwise. It all starts again this weekend eh?

    Milky NEIPA Lactose Indecision

The other point to consider is that you can add the lactose once the beer is completed. That way you can try a glass and see if it improves the beer and at what level you want it at. Dissolve it in some boiling water and then leave to cool before dozing into your finished product. Also - great...
