Gardening Frustrations__ The season of the Varmint

Yeah, I read that recently. Recoil goes back then forward. The first time I read that I thought that can't possibly be good?... Downloaded two free Books in PDF form from https://www.airrifle.co.za/library/Practical_Guide_To_Airgun_Hunting_PT_2_Jim_Chapman.pdf

    What are you drinking now?

Ice water & pills while refilling my e-cig while reading a kindle book on airgun hunting.

Kottbusser - A style deserving of revival!

I'm not doubting it. I just didn't see the usual culprits of infection? And it didn't get any worse, as infections can often do. I'm at a loss except for some off-beat reaction? And the beer was quite clear, no cloudy funk that was unusual. Just that saison-like barnyard funky tartness, just a...

Gardening Frustrations__ The season of the Varmint

I did, from amazon, but they botched the order with one I took off the order for one I still wanted. Found a duplex 3-9X40 mil dot center scope, but 145 bucks online.

Suggestion of a variety to dry hop

I like to dry hop with the same ones used for flavor. I feel it gives a more complete experience that way...:mug:

Beersmith just released the new version

I try to put in brew day & bottling notes as much as possible in the lower notes field. The upper one's for tasting notes, but still need to get in the habit of using the tasting notes field.

    safale us-05 rehydrating question

That kind of thing is why I like using spring water. With all those trace minerals, the lil yeasties seem to like it?...

    HomebrewTalk T-shirts Pre-Order

Here's a more complete shot of it. It's not as huge as the pic makes it look. About the size of a Monte Carlo stocked 22-.270 with Cochise thumbhole, a long barrel, suppressor (cuts 50% of sound) & bipod. It weighs 9lbs, & is a new-era magnum air rifle in .177 caliber. It is about the same...

Kottbusser - A style deserving of revival!

Check out the threads on Gose on here. Acidulated malt is put on top of the mash for the usual mash time. Then drain, sparge & boil as usual. Gotta look at'em again for the specifics, but it does give a little sourness/tartness on the back. That's about the level of sour/tart I had on the...

You know you're a home brewer when?

^ When you say that, & it sometimes takes some convincing to get that third hand involved. But buy her something she needs or wants when you pick up something you want or need...those ears are more willing to listen! :mug:

    What are you drinking now?

Congrats, man! I spent near 31 years as a second generation auto worker, went to college, hoping to get into programming. Never materialized. Glad to see someone make it out! I hope it works out way better for you! :tank:

Kottbusser - A style deserving of revival!

Right on all counts, style-wise. I gotta see if I still have the links to my research after old computer's hard drive got the click of death. They said about the same thing. And if you want to check out gruit ales, with herbs, spices & medicinal plant subs for herbs/spices, I have a couple...

    safale us-05 rehydrating question

The way I described it can cut lag time down to as little as one hour as I've seen with US-05 so far.

Gardening Frustrations__ The season of the Varmint

Mine's rated @ 1400FPS with 5gr alloy pellet in .177 caliber. A guy on YouTube shot a young wild pig with a .177 @ 21yds in the head & dropped it like a bad habit! I got some Lethals by Gamo in 5.56gr to try. Amazon botched my order & sent me same in .22, rather than the dome head lead 8.3gr I...
