    Griffin's First Cider: Bottled!

They will lose carbonation after you open it up. I bet it's best consumed at that point but I've never tried to recap one.

Wanted/Trade: Keg LIDS, West MI/Grand Rapids

Seeking 3-5 of your extra corny lids to trade for one of my lidless ball lock kegs (will deliver w/ air). Will also pay $5-10 per lid including shipping (49534) as I won't ship a keg. Recently unemployed so I don't drive outside the Sicilianos Market area (good meeting place?). Thanks for your...

Holy Carp! It actually looks like stout!

Not usually into GF but that looks like a barracuda actually like.

    First cider, in process!

Cold crash if kegging and keep cold. Pasturize if bottling (read the sticky). Wine stabilizers (potassium or sodium metabisulfite) aren't 100%. The sweet additions bumped the OG an EXTRA 1.06 - 1.08. Honey is 95% fermentable. You've got a honey wine. This wine would be best after several months.

    Is my English bitter ok?

I've never bottled earlier than 10 days and recommend the same unless you like bottle bombs. Although they are exciting the beer is hard to drink.

Best practices for washing bottles... how do you do it?

Rinse when empty with warm water and sometimes with lightly bleached water after a drinking weekend and rinse well. Run thru a no-chemical or soap dishwasher cycle on bottle day morning. No bottle problems after 50 batches.

So what matters basically, originate Exciting acronyms concisely? Since we must bashfully oblige: Selfish woman master, beautifully orgasmic

Forgot key ingredient . .does it matter much?

Thanks viking. I'll give DME +kitty litter a try. The marbles were a PITA to spit out. I'll try the OP's recipe with peanut stout; this might make a tasty brittle for Xmas gifts.
