    Today must have been pumpkin roll-out in Asheville. Noticed Sam's, New Belgium, Cottonwood, and a couple others in the grocery store tonight. Not in the mood for that yet, picked up a couple Victory Hop Wallops for later.

    I have a Highland Gaelic Ale in the fridge but damn, it is already a malty beer and after drinking those hoppy beers I might as well as drink some Aunt Jamima syrup LOLOL My go to beer. Can't go wrong with the Gaelic. Put some malt in your diet. It's not that sweet. Well balanced.

    1988. Champaign, Illinois. Broke the Guinness world record for most Little Kings sold in a 24 period. Bars opened up drive through windows for the day. Coincided with "Hash Wednesday". Scary. Got beat out by some college town in Michigan the next year I think.

    Boulevard Dark Truth Stout. Drinks a lot easier than I expected. Good stuff.

    Highland Imperial Kashmir IPA. Again. After it put a hurtin on me last time, which suprised me. 10.2%, but goes down smooth.

    Yes, leave the Fritos in the bag. And Gabe, that sandwich IS better on Bunny Bread. Oh, but you're a Duke's person. May have to question your judgement. Hellman's is the only real mayo. :-D

    Cork on DarkHollow has a Best By date. Kinda too late once you see it. Find this odd as well.

    Yeah it's probably sideways. This one is suprising. Hog Wild IPA from Aviator in Fuquay-Varina NC. Damn hoppy. Label says Chinook, Columbus, & Cascade in the boil. Dry hopped with Magnum (really?) and Willamette. Nice beer. And Peter Tosh was the best.

    God, in a commercial setting the health dept would be up yer a** for doing that. But I do such at home all the time.

    No no no. You DRINK the bourbon! Seriously, I don't think such volatile aromatics add much. The big difference the water pan makes is moisture in your pork and a gentler cooking process from the steam.

    Coffee, before I call the plumber. Serious leak. Beyond my abilities. Stupid 30 yr old copper pipes. Don't think I can afford a Saturday call, may have to just turn the water off til Monday. I'd be drinking something much stronger if I didn't have to be at work an hour ago.

    I've enjoyed the Little Suumpin a few times without realizing it's pedigree. Might give this a go for my next batch.

    For the $3.50 difference in price in this market, I'll take Hacker-Pschorr any time.
