    That warm blanket is great. Had cancer surgery a year ago, having hernia surgery in 2 weeks. Doc assures me the recovery will be worse.

    Found this SN Flipside Red IPA at the grocery today. Says it has whole cone Citra, Simcoe, & Centennial. Not over-the-top, but a fine brew.

    If good beer is a trigger for smoking, get a fat bottle of red wine. Or liquor. First time I quit (lasted 12 yrs) I was double fisting it til the craving passed. 2nd time did Chantix, and that doesn't blend with alcohol well at all.

    The Moth is great. Drinking an Epic Imperial Pumpkin Porter. Much better than the Pumking.

    Officially, you want to drop the temp on cooling food below 41º in 4 hrs. Same concept as cooling wort to pitch temp asap. Don't want to give the bugs time to grow. A pork butt wrapped in foil likely won't cool quick enough. Unwrapped, less of an issue. I'd be leary of the foil in the fridge...

    Hey in NC can't buy beer til noon on Sunday. No retail liquor on Sunday. And some counties in the mountains are actually dry. Makes planning for a fishing trip important.
