Midwest Supplies has terrible shipping policies.

Absolute BS sir. I pay for shipping. I can pay for 2 day shipping sure. I don't want to pay EXTRA to have people that work there actually do their job in a reasonable time frame.

Midwest Supplies has terrible shipping policies.

You guys say it's unreasonable to expect a Friday order to be processed on Monday? No other major online retailer is dumb enough to sit on orders. They know people want their stuff. Like I said if the shipping system itself takes this long fine, but don't expect me to be happy if you just sit on...

Midwest Supplies has terrible shipping policies.

Wonder why these stores do these things? At least explain to people that this is what's happening. Like put a footnote by the saver shipping that mentions that orders won't get processed same day. I'm sure some would just say ok cool and wait for their stuff. Anyway I tracked my package and it's...

Midwest Supplies has terrible shipping policies.

I mean I knew it wasn't going to get shipped out on Friday. Never expected it. But I placed it at 2pm EST which means for them it was 1PM. If they couldn't get it done on Friday (which I was fine with) mine should have damn-well been on top of the pile for Monday. But yeah they admitted they...

Midwest Supplies has terrible shipping policies.

Wow thats a long time. Well now you know. Call them and let them know it's urgent. That is IF you use them again. But yeah I used to work in a CVS warehouse for a summer and there was no delaying orders. That stuff left NOW lol.

Midwest Supplies has terrible shipping policies.

They said 5/27-6/3 expected time. It should be 5/25-5/28 had it been processed on Monday.

Midwest Supplies has terrible shipping policies.

Just talked to them again. They'll box my stuff up today. In the future they advised me to call after my order to let them know i need it ASAP, and they'll get it processed faster. Fair enough. So let it be know that you need to follow up with MWB if you want your stuff on time. They are nice...

Midwest Supplies has terrible shipping policies.

So I ordered a Simply Beer kit and of course i was ok with waiting a few days for FedEx or whomever they use to get my stuff here so i chose the cheapest option for shipping. Now I ordered Friday, and today is Tuesday and it still hasn't shipped. I talked to their reps. yesterday, and the way...

    World's Best Beer anyone?

Ok i had a bit of it. Terrible and not for me. Way too much hops. Very citrusy and a ton of hops on the taste and finish. It was not too bitter but more than i like. World's best...........except at my house.

Beer pretty flat after 2 weeks.

Unfortunately the fridge is surrounded by cabinets. a few inches of air gap are all there is lol. I'm stuck with 68-70 for ambient.

Beer pretty flat after 2 weeks.

Ok I was kinda figuring that's what it was. I have another beer kit coming in, so that'll take my mind of this bottled batch.

Beer pretty flat after 2 weeks.

Unfortunately I have no way to keep it at 72 degrees consistently. Ambient in our place is 68. It's a pale ale and OG was 1.048, FG was around 1.018-1.016. I put the sugar solution in the bottling bucket and racked on top of it and had the beer swirling whirlpool style while it was rushing in...

Beer pretty flat after 2 weeks.

Beers been in bottles for 2 weeks now sitting at a constant 68 degrees. Just popped the second one open and they've both been slightly carbonated but nothing great. No head at all. I used 4 oz. of corn sugar. It was a 5 gallon batch.

James Mays show about drinking (mostly beer)

Hey yeah. This is what really got me interested in beer if I'm honest. Well worth it. Play it on brew day ;)

Adding orange peel to American Wheat?

Yeah I think i'll stay away from flavor extracts for now. I like it natural or not at all haha. I'll be excited to get this batch going. As far as American Wheat beers are concerned: do you want a clear beer or some haze?

James Mays show about drinking (mostly beer)

Hey all. For many years I've watched the one time special show that James May and his pal Oz Clarke (wine critique) did about all the drink in Britain. They did two previous shows about Wine in France, and also in California. They are both hilarious and this show has a great entertainment value...
