    Show us your Kegerator

Just put a thread about it in the DIY section. That's a granite top and reclaimed cypress.

My build - reclaimed cypress, granite top, & wine rack

Correction: the kegs are pinlock, not ball lock. I guess they're slightly different sizes?

I hope these help! Let me know if you've got any questions and I'll do my best to answer.

Thanks all! I'll post a few more photos and details when I get back this weekend.

My build - reclaimed cypress, granite top, & wine rack

Over the past four months or so my fiance and I have been slowly building the bar below. The idea started out as a keezer, but the keezer was going in the living room so it had to be attractive. The keezer morphed into a bar and the bar into a huge bar. Much of the inspiration for this...

High Gravity BIAB Electric Brewing System

Dave, thanks for sharing. I've been looking at your setups and it seems you've got a great product that, to me, is very worth it. I'd rather be out on the boat than trying to put a controller together!

    Confession Time

I confess I read this whole thread but only skimmed the epic multi post (how?!?). I confess that on my last brew when transferring the cooled (outside) wort to the fermenter a small beetle crawled out. I just pitched an extra pack of yeast, neither of which I rehydrated. I confess I like...

    Saison - slick and yeasty.

    Awesome! Glad it worked out.

    Saison - slick and yeasty.

I find that saison changes more than many other beers as it sits. I would let it sit longer, but I'd just leave it in the fridge. I'm lazy. However, I suspect either way would be fine.

High Gravity BIAB Electric Brewing System

After a year of using the High Gravity BIAB system, how do you like it? Is there anything you would do differently? You've got an awesome setup and I really enjoyed reading about the process. Thanks for sharing!

    Don't worry about it.

Quick fix for a boring Saison?

Dry hopping it is! I'm embarrassed I hadn't thought of that... Still new to kegging. I like the idea of some dried orange peel as well. Just dunk it in some starsan first? Thanks!

Quick fix for a boring Saison?

Hey, I just kegged a session saison from an extract kit. The beer is perfectly fine, it's just boring. Not a lot of body, some saison funk from the Belle Saison yeast but not a ton, just not much to the beer. It's already kegged and we are having a big party Sunday so I'd like to serve it, but...

What's your "discovering a fellow home brewer" experience?

I've been traveling for work all week and found myself in Madison, AL, meeting a random craigslist guy to buy 4 pin lock kegs. This guy evidently buys out Coke plants and then sells the kegs. I walked to the back of the garage where he was and he would barely look at me and hardly said a word...

Imperial peanut butter cup brown ale

Thanks for the write up. You've got me thinking now...

    Is this soda regulator salvageable?

I got a 20lb CO2 tank, 4 pin lock kegs, and this regulator off craigslist, all of which came straight out of an old soda bar. My question to you is, is it worth trying to salvage this regulator? From what I can tell, I would need to replace the tank pressure gauge at a minimum as it's...
